The War On Wheels team began with a team of 3 small business owners who wanted to bike 2,499-miles across the country to raise awareness and $2,499,000 in funds to support pediatric cancer research.

SDC and Cal's Angels
The team at Spin Doctor Cyclewerks takes part in the annual WAR on Wheels (WOW) ride. This ride raises awareness and funds for the Cal's Angels mission. The WOW ride is a challenging fundraising event supported by Glen Galloway, owner of BEMA manufacturing, and its sole purpose is to raise funds earmarked for research in fighting pediatric cancer. Increasing survivability, treatments and ultimately cures have to be funded privately due to so little spent by the Pharma industry for pediatric specific cancers. While not every cyclist can join us on this challenging ride, they can participate by donating and as a bonus there is a chance to win the same bike the SDC team will be riding during this years Washington DC to St Charles IL WOW5 ride. Every. Penny. Raised. goes to the research fund. The generous support of the Galloway family pays for the sag and rider support.
